About me
I’m a business leader, strategist, and investor with a proven track record of transforming companies and unlocking growth across multiple industries. Passionate about innovation and economic development, I seek out opportunities that drive meaningful change and long-term value.
Above all, I’m a thinker who turns ideas into action. Whether through business, technology, or human connection — I operate where purpose meets performance, and vision becomes reality.
School years
I was born on May 2, 1968, in Azerbaijan, into a family of teachers. My father taught mathematics, and my mother was a teacher of French. Growing up in a home filled with knowledge, logic, and culture shaped my path in life.
My school years were a time of discovery. I was fascinated by the natural sciences — physics, mathematics, biology, and chemistry. It wasn’t just curiosity; it was a deep passion for uncovering patterns in the world around me. For me, each problem wasn’t just a set of formulas but a key to understanding reality.
But school gave me more than knowledge. It taught me determination and the ability to tackle complex challenges, while insightful conversations with my teachers broadened my thinking and encouraged me to explore unconventional solutions. I was fortunate to learn from truly inspiring educators — mentors who didn’t just impart knowledge but sparked a lifelong love for learning.
By 1985, as I finished school, I was certain of my path. I wanted to dedicate myself to science and analysis, and the next step was clear — pursuing higher education.
Education
After finishing school, I enrolled at the Azerbaijan State Medical Institute, Faculty of Pharmacy, and earned my degree as a pharmacist. I found the study of the human body fascinating, like a complex puzzle where logic, analysis, and precise knowledge were key. However, I soon realized that my interests extended beyond medicine. I was also drawn to broader global processes such as economics, management, and strategic thinking. I recognized that my passion for numbers and analysis reached beyond the realm of medicine.
This realization led me to expand my horizons by continuing my education at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Faculty of Finance and Credit. Here, I discovered that economics wasn’t just a dry theory; it was a dynamic system with cause-and-effect relationships, where you could predict the future and find creative solutions. Subjects like financial analysis, macroeconomics, and business management became invaluable tools for building strategies and making informed decisions.
I have always believed that learning should never stop after earning a diploma. As the world changes and technology advances, continuous learning becomes essential. To stay ahead, I pursued a range of business courses and trainings, including:
- Strategic Management and Investment Programs
- Startup Development and Innovative Business Courses
- Leadership, Team Management, and Decision-Making Training
- Data Analysis and AI Implementation Training in Business
These courses not only provided me with valuable knowledge but also hands-on experience, helping me uncover new opportunities and connect with people who are shaping the future.
For me, education isn’t just a phase in life; it’s an ongoing journey. In a world where technology evolves rapidly, the true advantage lies not in knowing more, but in learning faster.

Interests and hobbies
I’m all about living a healthy, balanced life. I believe that taking care of both mind and body is important. One of my favorite hobbies is fishing – there’s something so peaceful about being by the water, waiting for that perfect catch. I also love to travel, exploring new places and learning about different cultures. When I’m at home, you’ll usually find me reading. I’m really into philosophy and theology, as I enjoy diving into big questions about life and existence. But what truly matters to me is spending quality time with my family. Whether it’s sharing meals or just relaxing together, those moments are what keep me grounded and inspired. I always try to make time for the things that bring me peace and fulfillment.
Family
I’m a proud and happy family man, fortunate to be married to a wonderful woman who has supported and inspired me throughout our life together. We have three children – two daughters and a son. Our daughters have completed their university degrees in the UK, and our son has just started his own university journey there. Family is everything to me, and I’m grateful for the love, encouragement, and strength we share as a family.
